I just love watching my Gallery Stats go up and up.

My first goal for this site was to have 100 new people watch me before the end of my first year here. Currently, it says that 98 people watch me, which looks really close to 100, but I know it isn't. Two people (that I know of) have gotten banned, and one is an alternate account of the same person, which brings me down to 95. Of the remaining 95, ten knew me in real life before I started this account, one doesn't come to this site anymore, and a couple of these I know watch me out of courtesy rather than genuine interest in my work. Which means that I have 15 more people to attract. I'm sure I'll find some willing souls by July.

Currently I have 46,872 hits, might celebrate the 50,000th one. (Free avatar to whoever can PrtScrn it in the Gallery Stats page!)

On that note, does anyone have any suggestions for a program to make moving .gif pics? I know Flash works, but I'm unwilling to invest in any version of that at the moment because I'm unsure of how long I will be continuing to use the operating system I'm using currently.

Now to the serious stuff. The following are directed at a certain few of you, so the rest can skip if you don't see your avatar. More stuff directed at everyone later.

Let's see.... my next goal is to get featured some how as a Daily Deviation. FAQ #61: What is a Daily Deviation? But that isn't anything I can control, so I won't worry about it.

Oh, how's everyone liking my new style? I of course won't use it exclusively, but it is fun to draw (sort of) like Ken Sugimori. I'd like to draw another picture like Shedinja, Snatcher of Souls, but can't decide on a good candidate. Any suggestions?

And finally, about me. Had a birthday, got Smash Bros., a new kitchen and a horrible hair cut. (I swear. Do you have to have an IQ below 5 to be a hair stylist?!) Any one who wants to Brawl (or try some of my custom stages) can post their friend code here.

And that's about it. I have fewer college courses this quarter, so I should have more free time to draw. Yay.

Well, sketching doesn't need Photoshop, and it is really the only thing that needs to be done by both of us.

One way to do it is to have both of us finish the sketching, have me perfect the line art, send it to you to color, then you send that back to me for finishing touches.

If we did a battle scene, then the first step would be to decide on the setting, and if it would be single or double. Keep in mind that some of our favorite battling Pokemon would actually be really awkward to draw facing each other.

For chilling out, we'd get to draw more Pokemon, but then we'd have to agree on where to go. Most of mine wouldn't like the beach, for example, but are small enough to go to the movies.

In any case, we should begin my brainstorming a list of 6-8 Pokemon for each scenario. I'll go first:

Battle: Cradily, Swampert, Medicham, my Shiny Slowbro, Roserade, Gengar, Walrein, Ampharos

Chillin':
Zangoose, Minun, my shiny Banette, Espeon, Clefable, Drifblim, Abra, Ladien

hehe, the only shiny I've ever caught is a shiny Kingler I found in FR/LG. She's my HM slave. Once I did fins a shiny Yanma in Silver, but I didn't like Yanma so I killed it. (I was eight years old at the time.) I can't believe you have a shiny Milotic. I've never even had a regular Milotic..'~'

I'd like to do a battling scene or a hanging out scene, personally. Pokemon relaxing would be fun.

I agree that everything should be equally divided, but I don't have photoshop. >.<
Most of my art is scanned-then-coloured-in stuff, so I guess we could email stuff to each other. I'm not sure.

Wow, I didn't realize what a difficult question I asked until I had to answer it.

Battle: Well, I mostly use Zangoose for normal play, but for competitive battling I like Breloom and my near perfect stat Espeon. (He can even 1-hit KO Salamences, he rocks.)

Contest: Although I've won the Master Rank in every category in both Hoenn and Sinnoh with the same Shiny Milotic, I think that Bellossom and Dustox are much more fun to use.

Hanging out: Definitely Zangoose, he's so cuddly and bad-ass. I think he'd only think about letting me pet him if he thought no one else was watching.

Legendary: Mewtwo, although Lugia is a close second, with Regice as a distant third.

Well, if we're serious about this, then we should narrow down the topic. I assume that the piece would be Pokemon related, but that really doesn't narrow down the possibilities a whole lot.

Hmmmm. As a basis, I suppose we could select from the four themes we have going here. Would you like to do a Battling scene, a Contest scene, a having fun scene, or an encounter with a rare Pokemon, such as a legendary or a shiny? (I forgot to ask, have you ever been fortunate enough to meet/catch a Shiny?)

Once we have that decided, then we need to agree on how to divy up the work. Composition/ layout/ initial sketching should be equally divided, but we can be more lenient with the line art, coloring and possible background. If you are using Photoshop, then we could even send versions of the file back and forth as we make progress on it (via e-mail initially, then on a file sharing site like Megaupload if the file exceeds 10 MB.)

Bah, baby steps. What are your thoughts?

gah... I have so many I love to battle with.. probably Lapras, Absol & Seviper (even though it sucks majorly xD).
For contests? I'm really bad at contests, so probably Taillow/Swellow, because I can win the beginning rank in Verandturf with them. ^^;
My favourite legendary... probably Lugia or Suicune.
My favourite to hang out with? Absol. Hands down. If it wasn't likely I'd get a scythe through my chest, I'd run around hugging them all day.

I'd love to do a collab sometime, maybe on the weekend? I'm still at school for about two weeks then we go on holiday.. we get two-week holidays between terms. A term is about 10-12 weeks, then we get christmas holidays which is about mid-december - february.
So, are you in highschool? (if you don't mind me asking)

Thanks! I always think it interesting that other people can make fake Pokemon that look like Pokemon, but never capture real Pokemon just right.

Well, we can start right here. Which one is your favorite to battle with, your favorite for Contests, your favorite to hang out with, and your favorite Legendary?

If you have some time during the rest of this week, then we could begin on a collaboration piece. (Although, I have to finish a trade that I haven't in a few... months.)

Otherwise, I go back to school next week, and my free time will be unpredictable until summer, since we Americans have the entire months of June, July, and August off. How does it work in Australia?
